If there is one thing the French are proud of, it’s the baguettes and their cooking culture, putting aside the Béret and the stinky cheeses of course ;-).This food blog is just a recollection of my attempts, (mostly) failures and (few) successes, to live up to our reputation.

Although I’d rather eat salty meals, I tend to prefer baking pastries. Don’t be therefore surprised if most posts are about pastry recipes and techniques. I hope you’ll enjoy them and I’ll try my best not only to transcribe recipes, but also to pass on the tips & secrets I learnt along the way, in spite of my tiny Parisian kitchen, and which are often lacking from traditional books.
